In a shocking development Mia Fields-Thornton was accused of theft and arrested by the Atlanta police.

Thornton joined the long list of Bravo Housewives who have run afoul of law enforcement and have been accused of criminal acts.

The Real Housewives of Potomac star was arrested by Atlanta police at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and booked into the Fulton County Jail on felony charges on Wednesday, said media reports.

Officers were alerted by Customs and Border Protection to the presence of a wanted individual. The former reality-television star appeared calm in body-worn camera footage as she acknowledged to officers that she was aware of an active warrant for her arrest.

Thornton stands accused of stealing $11,000 worth of furniture from a condo on Marietta Street she had rented. It is not clear what she did with the furniture. Did she sell it? More details are awaited.

According to a police report obtained by People and published by various Hollywood news outlets, Thornton and a man identified as Jared McGriff allegedly cleared the place out “in the middle of the night” on October 28 taking away the furniture with her.

The loss and alleged crime was discovered by a property manager in charge of the condo, who promptly called the police. Investigators estimate the value of the missing items at approximately $11,000, a figure that elevates the case to a felony under Georgia law.

Thornton’s former landlord claimed that “the tenants also took all of the furniture which was in the unit prior to their move in as well as the tv which was on the wall.” Sources said Thornton may not exactly be in the know of things as she had contracted an agency to clear out the place.

Mia has not yet publicly commented on the situation and media reports said her lawyer would issue a clarification.
