Influencer Anunay Sood’s death due to drug overdose, snorted cocaine with 100 dollar bill

LAS VEGAS: In a damming report, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) has released key details regarding the sudden death of Dubai-based travel influencer Anunay Sood on November 4, 2025. According to reports, he was found unresponsive in his Wynn Las Vegas hotel room, while another report earlier had claimed, his unresponsive body was found lying on the road.

While further investigation is ongoing, the initial reports have mentioned drug use. Anunay Sood was found unresponsive in his hotel room at the Wynn Las Vegas on the morning of November 4, 2025. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) responded to a call from the hotel, where they discovered Sood’s body. According to the LVMPD report, officers assisted the Clark County Coroner’s Office in processing the scene, which led to the filing of a non-criminal/medical report. Although authorities have not yet confirmed the exact cause of death, preliminary details suggest a potential drug overdose, claimed media reports in various outlets.

Of 32 years, family and friends tried to first pass off the sudden death as “cardiac arrest” but it is now clear that narcotics “may have played a role”. According to the police investigation, Sood was accompanied by two women, one of whom was identified as his fiancee, Shivani Parihar from New Delhi.

The group reportedly met a man at around 4 am on the morning of the incident to purchase what they believed to be cocaine. After returning to the hotel room, the trio allegedly snorted the white substance using a USD 100 bill before falling asleep. It is possible the substance was spurious or mixed with another chemical, which could have caused the death, police sources have said.

Prior to snorting cocaine, Sood was partying in a casino where other international celebs from the racing circuit were around. Many of them were seen doing drugs or consuming narcotic substances and it is very likely that Sood was also part of the same group.
